DAILY ITINERARY
Day 1. Sat 21: PHNOM PENH - we'll meet you at the airport and settle you into your 5 STAR Luxury accommodation. Palace Gate Resort & Spa is a lovingly restored French colonial villa - formerly the seat of power of the French government. Located in the vibrant heart of the capital, next to the splendor of the Royal Palace and a short walk from of the bustling Riverside Quay.

Day 2. Sun 22: PHNOM PENH - our exploration begins with a guided visit to the Royal Palace complex, home to Cambodia’s royal heritage and some of the nation’s most impressive Khmer-style architecture. The Silver Pagoda is an important cultural and spiritual landmark. In the evening we'll enjoy a sunset cruise along the Mekong River, relax with panoramic views of Phnom Penh as the city lights come alive.

Day 3. Mon 23: PHNOM PENH - although holidays are meant to be fun, no trip to Cambodia is complete without visiting the Killing Fields. It's essential to get an understanding of Cambodia’s recent history and the unimaginable suffering endured under the Khmer Rouge. It is a deeply moving experience that honours the memory of the victims and acknowledges the resilience of the Cambodian people. It’s not a comfortable visit, but it is an important one that encourages reflection, fosters empathy, and ensures that such atrocities are neither forgotten nor repeated.

Day 4. Tues 24: PHNOM PENH - a free day to explore, shop and generally soak up the easy, welcoming spirit of Phnom Penh. Browse the lively Central Markets and treat yourself a to a very affordable Cambodian massage or two. Take an evening stroll along the lively riverside promenade - families, vendors and monks all sharing the walkway. The food scene is a vibrant blend of traditional Khmer flavours and contemporary culinary creativity, the city is a paradise for curious eaters.

Day 5. Wed 25: KAMPOT - after breakfast we'll head to this laid-back riverside town known for its gentle pace, colonial-era charm, lush countryside and seafood delights. Kampot offers a beautiful blend of nature, culture, and relaxation. We'll tour the world-renowned Kampot pepper plantations and the stunning Bokor Mountain National Park, wander local markets, or simply enjoy sunset by the river. Our peaceful resort is nestled on an island surrounded by jungle and the Kampot river.

Day 6. Thur 26: KAMPOT - today we'll visit Bokor Mountain National Park, where history, mystery and natural beauty all meet on a single, scenic mountaintop. Refreshing cool mountain air, misty forests, and sweeping views over the Gulf of Thailand. We'll explore the eerie, atmosphere-rich remnants of the old French hill station, crumbling villas, an abandoned church, and the iconic Bokor Palace Hotel. You can explore more of Kampot town in the afternoon, or relax at our peaceful resort.

Day 7. Fri 27: KAMPOT - a free day to explore Kampot town, enjoy the seafood, join a Cambodian cooking class, take a river cruise, or book a few hours in the spa!

Day 8. Sat 28: BATTAMBANG - we have one night here on the way to Siem Reap. We'll witness the spectacular bat exodus at Phnom Sampov, where millions of Asian Wrinkle-Lipped Free-Tailed Bats stream out of the cave at sunset in a long, swirling ribbon across the sky.

Day 9. Sun 29: SIEM REAP - it's only a three hour road trip to Cambodia’s most iconic treasures. Whether you’re seeking spiritual wonder or cultural immersion, Siem Reap promises memories that last a lifetime. From Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument, to mysterious jungle-clad temples, it’s a journey through history, culture, and architecture like no other. Beyond the temples, the local life is vibrant; floating villages on Tonle Sap River, bustling markets, traditional crafts & delicious Khmer cuisine. We have four nights in 5 STAR luxury in the heart of Siem Reap.

Day 10. Mon 30: SIEM REAP - we'll be met by our amazing guide who will bring Angkor Wat to life at sunrise! After breakfast at our hotel we'll visit the Terrace of the Elephants, and the mysterious jungle-clad temples of 'TOMB RAIDER' fame, Angkor Thom and Bayon. Plenty of free time to shop and explore the famous 'Pub Street' and later on, the night markets.

Day 11. Tues 1 Dec: SIEM REAP - after yoga and breakfast, we'll visit a lotus silk farm, we'll learn how the sacred lotus flower is transformed into stunning textiles, scarves, and accessories using ancient Cambodian techniques. Free time.

Day 12. Wed 2 Dec: SIEM REAP - large parts of Cambodia remain blighted by landmines, a haunting legacy from decades of war - we'll see how HERO RATS are trained to detect these unexploded devices! Then we'll enjoy our last day in Siem Reap, including cocktails in the iconic Raffles Hotel before dinner.
